Considerable support was given by local businesses many of who saw increased business from the event. Particular mention must be given to the musicians who gave their services for free, Frome Scaffolding for the stage and the White Lion who lend much equipment and donated a whole pig for the roast
The proceeds exceeded £500 and were shared between four village organisations.
May 2017
The organising team felt this might become a regular occurence and may 2017 saw the first Rock 'n Rolls party arranged on a similar basis with local musicians and other attractions supported by a Hog Roast and Burgers plus tea, cakes, ice creams etc as before.
